10/09/2016 The course was wet on the day played. Not the fault of the course, Mother Nature to blame. But I still saw things that should have been weeded that had nothing to do with the weather. Not sure why not, seems to me this would greatly improve the appearance which is shabby at best, for now.. So much potential. That is what I posted on their FaceBook page.
10/20/16 140pm. UPDATE. Approximately 90 min ago I showed up to use the rain check I got on the 10/9/2016. Planned to hit some range balls. I told one of the owners I wanted to use my rain check, and before I could ask for range balls, she was offering me a refund. I was there to play, I was shocked she knew who I was, and referenced my FaceBook review which was a two (2). She made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. It seems they don't want honest reviews. I made it clear that I had no ill will towards them, this is my home course, and I have played it hundreds of times. They made me feel like I was out to intentionally hurt them, which is the farthest thing from the truth. I was looking forward as I expressed originally to improvements, but at the moment, FB asked for a review, and I gave it. If they don't want to subject themselves to honest opinions, they should GET OFF FB!
My review is my review, we aren't in China or Russia. I felt they wanted to dictate their reviews!!! They made a point to let me know that my Facebook posting was their only GOLF review and they couldn't expect to get biz with negative reviews. Am I in the twilight zone? Sorry. Take yourself off social media!!! Additionally, her husband, the other owner, told me I did not know about golf if I was concerned with the appearance. What?
Wow. I've been playing 30 years and never witnessed such a ridiculous pair. In my opinion, they are oversensitive and can't handle constructive criticism. Read for yourself my original review. Oh and just to get an idea of the maturity of these two. See the two post that have been suddenly placed since I left. Claiming that my standards are stupid? Steer clear of the wackos running this joint.
